switch it up

switch it up is a co-operative 2D top-down multiplayer game. You play as Eco and Tech, two dedicated workers on a computer hard drive. Your tasks? To ensure order and efficiency. 

By saving and deleting files on the computer, data fragments have been scattered around, slowing down the computer and the workers. Your task is to collect these data fragments and place them in the right places.

Each of you controls one side of the playing field, but sometimes the fragments you need are on your partner's side. This is where swapping comes into play! Use the central exchange point in the centre of the hard drive to swap fragments back and forth and restore order together. 

The complexity and number of file fragments increases in each round of the game. The faster you swap and organise the data, the better. 

The most efficient workers receive a place in the Hall of Fame!

Controls

Eco (left Player): use wasd to move around an space to pick up and drop the fragments.

Tech (right Player): use the arrow keys to move around and use ctrl (windows) or option (Mac) to pick up and drop fragments.

Tip

Reset all leaderboard data (times and team names) in the main menu by clicking the reset button 3x within 5 seconds.
